Diamonds have the following characteristics:

Shape:
A stone’s shape is determined by the customer’s preference. The most popular shapes are: Round, Princess, Emerald, Asscher, Marquis, Oval, Radiant, Pear, Cushion and Heart.

Cut:
A polished diamond’s proportions affect its light performance, which, in turn, affects its beauty and overall appeal. Diamonds with fine proportions, symmetry and polish optimize their interaction with light and have increased brightness, fire and scintillation.

Color:
Most diamonds, although appearing colorless, actually have slight tones of yellow or brown. As these tones become more easily apparent, the rarity and cost decrease.

Clarity:
Practically all diamonds contain naturally occurring internal characteristics, called inclusions. The size, nature, location and amount of inclusions determine a diamond’s clarity grade and affect its cost.

Diamond Certification:
Yamron Jewelers’ diamonds are certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). This Laboratory is highly respected because of its consistency and unbiased grading standards.
